Nolan, Bale, Snyder Back For “Justice League”

With Will Beale’s script for “Justice League” having been tossed to the wind, Warners is rumored to be doing a not entirely unexpected move – they’re praying to Christopher Nolan.

In a video report over the weekend, Latino Review says that Christopher Nolan is set to become the DC Universe equivalent of Marvel’s Kevin Feige (albeit less hands on). Anything to do with DC features goes through him.

Much like with the upcoming “Man of Steel”, he is expected to ‘godfather’ and produce the “Justice League” film and possibly other superhero franchise launchers.

While that bit of news sounds very credible, the video doesn’t stop there and moves forward with one hell of a rumor. That speculation is who will direct and who could well be starring in what could be either a “Justice League” film, or possibly a “World’s Finest” feature. Here’s the key quotes:

“So like with Man of Steel, [Nolan’s] going to be involved with godfathering/producing while Zack Snyder will be co-producing and will possibly be the director.”

“They’re shaping this [Justice League] as a vehicle for Christian Bale to reprise his role as Batman and join Henry Cavill’s Superman in the Justice League movie.”

That sounds highly speculative, but LR has a great track record for comic book movie scoops. Wait and see for now.
