Oldman & Monaghan Hire A “Monster Butler”

Gary Oldman, Dominic Monaghan and Joanne Whalley have joined the cast of Doug Rath’s indie drama “Monster Butler” for Dark House Films and Warner Bros. Pictures reports Heat Vision.

Malcolm McDowell stars in the film which follows the true story of Roy Fontaine (aka Archibald Hall), a bisexual jewel thief, con artist and serial killer who chronicles his personal descent into darkness leading up to his eventual capture.

Oldman will portray Wiggy, a taxidermist with anger issues who partners with Fontaine on a number of crimes before things get heavy.

Monaghan will play David Wright, Roy’s Achilles’ heel. Their relationship begins in prison and restarts when they both work on an estate.

Shooting kicks off June 6th in Scotland, with McDowell, Diane Da Silva and Chris Roe producing.
