“House Of Cards” was a major original series success story for Netflix, enough that it has already been renewed for a second season.
However, one of its other upcoming high-profile projects will not be getting a renewal – even though it hasn’t aired yet.
Netflix’s CEO Reed Hastings has announced that the company’s revival of “Arrested Development” for a fourth season will be a one-off event.
“We don’t anticipate being able to do season five, six and seven, and we have less of a stake in it. So it’s really a fantastic one-off which is coming together incredibly” said Hastings today at a media conference.
Hastings also lauded upcoming original programs such as Eli Roth’s “Hemlock Grove” and the second season of “Lilyhammer”.
