A while back Alex Proyas’ adaptation of the classic John Milton poem “Paradise Lost” for Legendary Pictures was delayed indefinitely.
However, unlike some other projects whose delay seems more of a precursor to the entire project being possibly dropped, there was never any real question that ‘Paradise’ would get going again.
Now, actor Bradley Cooper has suggest a potential date – “We’re going to hopefully start in June. Everything’s going great. I mean, nothing’s done until we’re up and shooting” he tells The Playlist.
At last report the delay was due to attempts to cut 10% and 15% of the proposed $ 120 million budget for heavily mo-capped live-action film. If the eight week shoot begins in June, Cooper will likely follow ‘Paradise’ with “The Hangover Part III” which he’s previously suggested would begin shooting in September.
