Paul Walker is in talks to star in the action-thriller “Brick Mansions”, a remake of French international hit “District B13”, at EuropaCorp says Deadline.
Walker plays a detective trying to track down a stolen weapon of mass destruction in the ghetto dubbed Brick Mansions. He enlists the help of Lino (David Belle), a fearless man who knows the slum like the back of his hand.
Belle starred in the original and invented the sport of parkour which is used heavily throughout it and its sequel. Luc Besson and his “Taken” co-scribe Robert Mark Kamen are penning the script.
One of Besson’s protege’s will direct the project which Walker is expected to film before getting to work on “Fast Six”.
