20th Century Fox has confirmed the French Blu-ray release (and thus likely the worldwide one) of Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” will contain approximately fifteen minutes of deleted and alternate scenes.
The full disc details are out at Blu-ray.com and include audio commentary from Ridley Scott, four viral videos and a massive amount of featurettes through each stage of the production.

The news comes as a story emerged this week via Slog that a theatre employee at the Regal Cinemas Thornton Place Stadium 14 in Seattle was giving away one of the film’s spoilers to people about to go in to see the movie.
Said employee termed his phrasing in what’s being described as a “politically charged” way. One audience member says the usher told him and his guest that “I have to warn you…halfway through the movie, the main female character will perform a self-induced abortion.”
Regal has since issued a statement says they are apologetic, and the company has “further reminded theatre staff what is and what is not proper dialogue with our guests”.
