Various stars showed up in London over the weekend for the BAFTAs and several gave some short, but important quotes about upcoming projects whilst on the red carpet.
First up, actress Alice Eve said bluntly that Benedict Cumberbatch is “not playing Khan” when asked about Cumberbatch’s mysterious John Harrison character in the upcoming “Star Trek Into Darkness”.
Actress Elizabeth Olsen was asked about the “Godzilla” reboot at Legendary Pictures. She says “It’s definitely not lighthearted. It’s kind of going back to its roots of the original Japanese film”.
Finally, Quentin Tarantino re-affirmed talk that he’ll follow-up “Django Unchained” with a third historical film. Tarantino told a BAFTA press conference: “This [rewritten history theme] begs a trilogy, it begs to have a third movie on this theme. [But] I haven’t decided about what yet.”
