Actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed away today, he was 54. Duncan was receiving treatment in a Los Angeles hospital this morning for a heart attack he suffered in July.
His fiancee, Omarosa Manigault said in a statement from her reps “The Oscar-nominated actor suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered. Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”
The actor broke through in the late 90’s with a memorable supporting role in “Armageddon” followed by an Oscar nominated turn in “The Green Mile”. He’s since gone on to star in such films as “Daredevil,” “Sin City,” “The Scorpion King,” “The Island” and “Green Lantern”.
