“Rango” co-writer Jim Byrkit and Alex Manugian have been hired to pen a script for the “Fraggle Rock” movie at New Regency, Jim Henson Co. and Montecito Picture Co. says Heat Vision.
Based on the classic 1980’s musical puppet series created by Jim Henson, the story follows a group of cave-dwelling puppet creatures called Fraggles.
There’s also a race of small industrious creatures called Doozers, and the furry giant Gorgs who look at Fraggles as nuisances.
