Ridley & Tony Scott Play Some “Call of Duty”

It’s one of the biggest franchises of console gaming, now filmmakers Ridley and Tony Scott are set to become involved in the “Call of Duty” series albeit in an unexpected way.

Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg used his keynote speech at the “Call of Duty XP” video game festival to announce that the Scott’s are creating the exclusive online series “Friday Night Fights” as part of the exclusive content available on Activision’s premium service “Call of Duty Elite” says The Hollywood Reporter.

‘Fights’ will “focus on video game competitions between rival groups like football versus soccer fans, firemen versus cops, and celebrity rivalries with competitors settling their differences by playing ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3′”.

The Scott’s aren’t the only ones getting in on the action as Will Arnett and Jason Bateman’s DumbDumb production company are creating two shows for COD Elite TV including the animated comedy series “Cocked Hammers”, and “n00b tube” which features user gameplay videos with comedic voice-over commentary from Arnett and Bateman.
