Samuel L. Jackson has joined the cast of Jose Padilha’s remake of “Robocop” at MGM and Sony Pictures says Heat Vision.
Joel Kinnaman (“The Killing”) stars as cop Alex Murphy who is brought back from the brink of death and turned into a cyborg police officer with the help of Gary Oldman’s scientist-creator character.
Jackson will play Pat Novak, a charismatic media mogul and a powerful force in the Robocop world. Shooting kicks off in September in Toronto.
