Adam Sandler is attached to an untitled rom-com project at Warner Bros. Pictures and his own Happy Madison label. Sandler’s “The Wedding Singer” co-star Drew Barrymore is being eyed as the female lead.
The story centers on a couple who, after a disastrous blind date, find themselves stuck together with their kids from a previous marriage.
A director search is under way, and shooting aims to kick off in May. Sandler had been attached to the comedy Western, “The Ridiculous 6,” but that film has been pushed.
