Scripts: Library, Operators, Baby, Winchester

The Library
Brett Ratner’s Rat Entertainment and Artist International are set to adapt the Zenescope Entertainment comic “Grimm Fairy Tales Presents The Library” into a family adventure feature. The story follows the adventures of a young girl who, along with her family unlocks a portal in a historic and forgotten library which brings heroes, villains, and creatures from storied books into our world. The Operators
New Regency has optioned the film rights to Michael Hastings’ novel “The Operators” and will produce the feature with Plan B. The book expands upon a Rolling Stone article by Hastings in 2010 about the actions of Gen. Stanley McChrystal – the head of the U.S. war effort in Afghanistan. [Source: Variety]

Untitled Baby Adventure Movie
Katie Dippold penned the script for an untitled baby adventure movie at Chernin Entertainment. Commercial and short film director Jeff Tomsic will helm the project which centers around babies who try to break out of a daycare center. [Source: Variety]

Winchester Mystery House
Exclusive Media’s Hammer Films label has optioned all rights to develop and produce a supernatural horror feature based on Winchester Mystery House, the San Jose residence called the “world’s most haunted house”. Hammer (“The Woman in Black”) will co-produce the film with Imagination Design Works and Nine/8 Entertainment. [Source: Movies with Butter]
