After the success of “Ted” this past summer, “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane is already looking into his next big screen project – a “Blazing Saddles”-esque western comedy.
MacFarlane is planning to direct and star in “A Million Ways to Die in the West”, a new script he and his “Ted” co-writers Alex Sulkin and Wellesley Wild have penned.
“Ted” financiers Media Rights Capital and producer Scott Stuber are also behind the off-beat comedy which will shoot during the Summer.
Along with being a western with MacFarlane’s signature racy humor, the script also deals with just how dangerous and painful life really was in the late 1800s.
