“Skyfall” co-writer John Logan and director Sam Mendes are re-teaming to develop a high-concept drama series for U.S. cable network Showtime.
The untitled project, which is considering a straight-to-series order at Showtime, would have Logan and Mendes as executive producers while Mendes would direct the pilot.
The story is described as an 1800s-set psychological horror drama series with literary underpinnings, including Dr. Frankenstein and his creature.
Logan penned the script as a spec and began shopping it around the premium cable networks in November.
