Sony Pictures Entertainment is moving forward with its Biblical epic “The Redemption of Cain”, giving the Will Smith project the green light says The Wrap.
Caleeb Pinkett’s script tells the story of Cain and Abel with a vampiric twist. Filming is expected to take place in London and Jordan with the exteriors shot in Morocco starting in July next year.
Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment is producing. The project has been in development for several years and is being developed as both a potential directing and starring vehicle for the actor.
