Shailene Woodley (“The Descendants,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”) is confirmed to be under consideration for the role of Hazel in the film adaptation of novelist John Green’s young adult novel “The Fault In Our Stars”.
The film tells the heartbreaking love story. Woodley would play a sixteen-year-old cancer patient named Hazel, who is forced by her parents to attend a support group.
She subsequently meets and falls in love with the seventeen-year-old Augustus Waters, an ex-basketball player and amputee.
Wyck Godfrey produces the project which is aiming to begin shooting at the end of the year.
