TrekMovie reports that filming on J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” sequel looks officially set to begin on January 15th.
Scribes Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof are working on a third draft of the script which is essentially ready and Abrams himself has already scouted both a Hawaiian jungle location and a Los Angeles museum for scenes in the movie.
Meanwhile, Comic Book Movie reports that Warner Bros. Pictures is happy enough with the footage so far from their upcoming Superman reboot “Man of Steel” that they’ve quietly begun early development on a sequel.
Steve Kloves, Travis Beacham and Lawrence Kasdan are reportedly on the list to potentially pen the script. The site stresses however this is pure rumour for now.
