Tom Hardy is set to play a soldier in the drama “Samarkand” for Solar Pictures.
Hardy plays an SAS veteran returning from the Middle East who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder as he tries to reintegrate into society.
Photographer Greg Williams will make his feature directorial debut on the project, he and his brother Olly Williams wrote the screenplay.
Greg Williams previously directed the short film “Sergeant Slaughter: My Big Brother” which won awards and starred a full-frontal naked Hardy.
