TV News: Hour, Bridge, Turbo, Arrow

The Hour
The BBC have declined to renew Abi Morgan’s series “The Hour” for a third season. Ben Whishaw, Dominic West and Romola Garai starred in the 1950s & 1960s-set series which ran for two seasons.

Shine America is reportedly developing a U.S. version of the show, set in a slightly later historical time period. [Source: Variety]

The Bridge
FX has given a full thirteen-episode first season order to the American remake of the Scandinavian hit “The Bridge”. The series is scheduled to air this Summer.

Demian Bichir and Diane Kruger star as a pair of detectives – one from the U.S. and the other from Mexico – who work together to hunt down a serial killer. [Source: Variety]

Turbo: F.A.S.T.
Netflix and DreamWorks Animation will team on the streaming service’s first original series for kids.

“Turbo: F.A.S.T.” will be based on DWA’s upcoming summer feature “Turbo.” The show is set to debut exclusively on Netflix in December in the United States. [Source: Screen Daily]

Arrow
The CW have released a new extended trailer for the next few weeks of the first season of its superhero series “Arrow”.
