TV News: Kids, Transporter, Angels, Revenge

The Kids Are All Right
HBO is developing last year’s Oscar-nominated “The Kids Are All Right” into an hour-long series. Lisa Cholodenko, who co-wrote and directed the film, will write the pilot script and executive produce.

The story will continue the adventures of the five main characters including the lesbian parents, their son and daughter and the biological father of the kids who surfaces and tears the family apart. [Source: Deadline]

The Transporter
Filming has temporarily halted on the upcoming series “Transporter” after star Chris Vance (“Prison Break”) was injured during an action scene being shot in Toronto.

Production has been halted for at least two weeks to allow Vance to “return to peak physical condition”. Cinemax will screen the series next year. [Source: The Toronto Sun]

ABC
ABC has given full season orders to their freshman series “Revenge” and “Suburgatory”. Both series have scored strong ratings.

Meanwhile the remake of “Charlie’s “Angels” has been canceled and production on has been shut down. ABC intends to air the episodes that have been already made. [Source: The Live Feed and Deadline]
