It’s not official yet, but USA Network is on the verge of renewing its action series “Burn Notice” for a 13-episode seventh season.
Despite remaining the network’s most popular show, it is expected that the seventh will be the final season due to issues with the production studio where the show has been filmed since it began (see my earlier story for more on that).
The remaining eight episodes of the sixth season are set to go to air from Thursday November 8th.
At the same time, the network is cancelling three of its newest shows – “Common Law,” “Fairly Legal” and “Political Animals”.
The latter was aired as a mini-series which, should it perform well enough, be renewed for a full second season. Its numbers weren’t bad, but weren’t good enough to justify further episodes.
