Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired film rights to Michael McMillian’s pop-fantasy comic book mini-series “Lucid” reports Variety.
The story follows Agent Matthew Dee who uses his skills as a covert spy and Combat Mage to ensure America’s freedom from the grip of evil. Throw in elements of Arthurian legend and occult mythology.
Both writer/producer Akiva Goldsman and Zachary Quinto’s production company Before the Door will develop and produce the project. No scribe has yet been hired to adapt the comic.
