Warner Bros. is planning an English language remake of the French action film “Sleepless Night” reports Heat Vision.
The story centers on an undercover cop trying to get back his kidnapped son from a drug-dealing nightclub owner. One problem, he’s lost his only bargaining chip – a duffel bag filled with cocaine he and his partner stole in a botched job that got him stabbed.
Can he find the bag and his son whilst evading various drug lords and his own Internal Affairs department? Roy Lee and John Middleton will produce the remake. The original film screened during the recent Toronto Film Festival.
