Joss Whedon surprised the hell out of everyone the other week when he revealed that despite his “The Avengers” commitments keeping him occupied, he recently shot a film adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing” on the quick and in secret with some of his regular TV actors.
Now, he and Kai Cole’s Bellwether Pictures have announced their second project – the metaphysical love story “In Your Eyes”. The story follows “two seemingly polar opposites who are deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined” says Deadline.
Whedon wrote the script and will serve as executive producer, Brin Hill (“Ball Don’t Lie”) will direct and both Cole and Michael Roiff (“Waitress”) will produce. Financing is already in place with shooting to kick off in February.
