“Drive” and “Bronson” director Nicolas Winding Refn has made it known for a while lately that he’s very keen on directing a film adaptation of DC Comics superhero “Wonder Woman” for Warner Bros. Pictures.
With the buzz on “Drive” high and his planned remake of “Logan’s Run” coming, Refn now revealed at Empire Big Screen 2011 (via The Playlist) that “I’m getting closer with Logan’s Run. I think someone said to me in a meeting that if I get Logan’s Run right, then I’ll get Wonder Woman.”
He added he “would love to make” the film and re-iterated his choice of “Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks to play the character.
