The CMA is excited to have Brett Mewett, a leader in the field of Production and Inventory management show you the power that strategic management of resources can provide to your organization making your processes efficient and more effective to maximize profitability on existing revenues. Brett will use real examples of organizations to demonstrate all of this. Real world examples include Frank Lloyd Wright, Eichler, McDonalds, Disneyland, Rolls Royce, Darioush, Neibaum Coppola, Cakebread, and Bronco Wineries. After this presentation you will know when to ask the strategic questions related to satisfying and exceeding your customer’s needs and outperforming your competitors. An organizations supply chain strategy must be defined at the executive level so everyone is aware of the strategy and can therefore support it with every decision they make.

About the speaker – Presenter Brett Mewett. Fellowship CPIM

Brett Mewett is a seasoned professional, trainer and presenter with more than twenty years experience in operations management. As a designated professional Brett attained his fellowship in the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation in 2011 placing him in the top 3% in the world. He’s a graduate of BCIT’s Operations Management “Fastrack” program and graduated “With Honors”. For almost ten years, Brett has been teaching the APICS (The Association for Operations Management) curriculum at BCIT as a Part-Time Studies Instructor. With Brett’s experience and business acumen he applies himself as a Business Systems Consultant for Essential Software Solutions Inc. (ESS) based in Vancouver. As a core part of the professional services team he consults with clients adopting Enterprise Resource Planning software from pre-sales through to post implementation support.

Outside the office Brett is a father, mentor, and car enthusiast. Brett is known for his passion for wines, scotch and travel. All those experiences end up in an interesting, fast moving and informative presentation – “Does your supply chain meet your customer’s needs?”
