Eaglequest Coyote Creek Golf Course Review

Want to play a challenging round of golf in just over 3 hours?  Then Eaglequest Coyote Creek in Surrey is your best bet.  The 18 hole, par 65 course consists of 11 par 4 holes and 7 par 3 holes.

Very reasonably priced, this par 3 & 4 course plays very quickly (unless stuck behind a slow group) and requires a great approach shot to make par on most holes.  The greens are well maintained and have lots of curves, but balls roll true to the slopes.  With 13 holes having water hazards, you can expect beginners to lose a lot of balls.

While you can whip out the driver for some of the holes, a lot of the holes have water hazards if you drive it too far.  This forces you to play smart instead of all out going for it.  Some of my favourites are hole 4 for a challenging par 3 and the par 4 hole 14 for a potential eagle.  The most dangerous hole is 13, where you can often find stray range balls littering the fairway and green.

This course is a great home base for those looking to hone their all around golf game.  The driving range and putting green are available and open late (the range is lit by flood lights when it gets dark).  There’s a practice area with grass driving range, putting green and sand trap available during private lessons.  Make sure you sign up for the 1 year membership to get deals on range balls and discounted rounds.  You’ll also get a free round of golf or 10 buckets when you sign up!

At a total yardage of 4165 from the blues tees and 3832 from the white tees, you can easily walk the course in a short amount of time and not feel tired by the end of it all, while still feeling satisfied.  For a golf quickie, I highly recommend playing Eaglequest Coyote Creek!
