19-year-old woman sexually assaulted in Abbotsford

Abbotsford police are looking for suspects after a 19-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by two men driving a picktup truck.

Police say the woman was walking downtown near Pauline and Homeview streets on Thursday evening when she saw a white pickup truck carrying two South Asian men pass her twice.

Suddenly, one man got out of the truck, grabbed her and pushed her into the vehicle.

The two men sexually assaulted her, and then pushed her out of the truck and drove off.

She had been dropped off in a parking lot in the 34000 block of Gladys Avenue.

The driver is described as in his late 20s with a thin build, clean shaven and short black hair, and wearing a dark jacket and blue t-shirt.

The other man is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, with a heavy build, short dark hair with a full beard, and wearing a yellow shirt, grey hoodie and tear-away track pants.

Police say they spoke to each other in Punjabi.

Anyone with information is asked to call Abbotsford Police at 604-859-5225 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
