3 injured while building home

Three people are badly hurt after a scaffolding accident at a home in Shaughnessy.

Vancouver Fire Captain Gabe Roder says it happened about 6:30 Thursday evening, “In the 1500-block of East 28th Avenue. When we arrived, we discovered a number of people had fallen from what appeared to be scaffolding that had collapsed.”

The home was under construction and the workers were inside at the time of the accident.

No other details have been released and Worksafe BC will be investigating.
