A familiar name in Langley seeks NDP nomination

The President of the Langley Teachers Association is launching a bid for the provincial NDP nomination in the riding of Fort Langley Aldergrove.

Gail Chaddock-Costello has launched her campaign on social media with an NDP themed twitter account.

Chaddock-Costello is seeking the nomination in the riding currently held by long time BC Liberal heavyweight Rich Coleman.

She has tried for the nomination before.

A nomination meeting will be held in October.

Also making things interesting in Langley is BC Conservative party leader John Cummins admitting he is looking at one of the area’s two ridings.

He lives in the Langley riding currently held by Aboriginal Relations minister Mary Polak.
