A lengthy standoff on Vancouver’s east side has ended peacefully. Police attended an apartment near Kingsway and Joyce Road before midnight Monday night. Reports indicated a disturbed man had locked himself inside his apartment and it wasn’t known whether he was armed or not.
Negotiations continued overnight and through the day until the man finally surrendered to police about 7pm Tuesday…
