An amazing story of survival

North Shore Search and Rescue says the snowboarder missing since Sunday was located Tuesday afternoon.
 
With the help of 442 Squadron based in Comox he was safely winched off Black Mountain using a long line setup from a Cormorant Helicopter. The helo then flew him to Vancouver International AIrport where he was assessed and deemed healthy.
 
he is now spending time with family.

33 year old Sebastien Boucher of Ottawa is in stable condition with no injuries.

Remaining members of the rescue team have now packed up and returned home.

Another job well done by Tim Jones and North Shore Search and Rescue.
