Another Liberal MLA is joining Kash Heed in supporting the legalization and regulation of marijuana.
But West Vancouver – Sea-to-Sky’s Joan McIntyre also shares another similarity with Heed, she’s not seeking re-election. And with only six months left in Victoria, McIntyre was asked why she waited so long to share her position, “I think there’s some momentum that’s been building up over the last six months, over the last year and when I saw Kash’s video, which I just saw, I thought this was the moment to lend my voice of supporting.”
McIntyre adds there are likely other sitting Liberals who support the idea but she won’t name them.
