Arrests in Prince George kidnapping

Two men have been arrested, while two others remain at least after a reported kidnapping in Prince George.

RCMP were called earlier this week to a rural area east of Prince George for a report of kidnapping and assault.

They arrived at the scene to find a man suffering from undisclosed, but serious injuries.

He was taken to hospital.

Police believe the man had been held for several days in a rural home.

Officers arrived there are and arrested a 32-year-old man, and recovered a small grow-op and stolen property.

A second suspect, 35 years old, was later arrested.

Now, RCMP are looking for two suspects still at large — brothers.

24-year-old Francois Christiaan Meerholz and 22-year-old Dillan Meerholz.
