Crown lawyers have wrapped up their closing arguments in the BC Supreme Court in Vancouver trial of Jarrod Bacon and another man accused of conspiracy to traffic cocaine.
Crown lawyer Maggie Loda says the evidence clearly points to Bacon and Wayne Scott making a deal to obtain cocaine and resell it.
Bacon made no reaction as Loda accused him of lying when he testified earlier this week he planned to steal and not buy ten kilograms of cocaine from the dealer, who was actually a police agent.
Loda says there are several inconsistencies with the robbery testimony, such as Bacon’s bail limitations at the time.
The defence is now making its final reply in the hearing.
The judge is expected to adjourn at the end of the day.
