Edmonton police have confirmed that 21 year old Travis Baumgartner has been arrested.
He was trying to cross the BC-Washington border at the Lynden crossing, south of Abbotsford Saturday.
A hunt for Baumgartner has been on since early Friday, after he allegedly shot four other guards with G4S Cash Solutions Canada.
Police have said he was the fifth member of a group reloading bank machines at the University of Alberta.
Three of the people shot were killed, another is believed to be in critical condition.
Baumgartner faces one count of attempted murder, and three counts of first degree murder.
