BC ended the fiscal year with a smaller deficit than what it had been predicting in February.
But at $ 1.84-billion, it’s much higher than the one reported this time last year.
Total government spending is $ 926-million higher than what was anticipated in the 2011 budget.

Finance Minister Kevin Falcon says the $ 1.6-billion dollar HST repayment, which has now been fully accounted for.
Right now, the province’s total debt is $ 50.2-billion dollars.
