They vowed to run a candidate in each riding across the Province but it turns out, that won’t be the case for the BC Conservatives.
Leader John Cummins says they’re purposefully choosing not to run against Independent MLA Vicki Huntington in Delta-South, “There may be considerable push for our Constituency Association but we’ll deal with that as time goes on.”
While Cummins says Huntington hasn’t been formally approached to possibly run as a Tory, the MLA has a different version of events, “Yes! Obviously there’s some recognition by the Conservatives that I have a Federal Conservative background and they’ve certainly talked to me.”
But Huntington insists she’s happy, as an independent.
