Boden convicted of sexual assault

A former BC Lion who has been the subject of police warnings has been convicted of sex assault.

On Friday, Josh Boden was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault, one count of assaulting a police officer, and one count of obstructing a police officer.

The convictions come after several attacks on women, being grabbed from behind in 2009.

Originally facing three counts of sex assault, Boden pled not guilty.

A date for sentencing will be held in the new year, as the courts await a pre-sentencing report and psychiatrict evaluation.
