Abbotsford Police and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team are investigating a suspected homicide.
Constable Ian MacDonald says the body of an 80 year old man was discovered by a family member on Saturday in an outbuilding on the family property in the 317-hundred block of Huntingdon Road, “The man, despite his age, was quite fit, went on bike rides and long walks, and part of his routine, according to family, was for him to get up quite early in the morning and go for a walk.”
MacDonald says it was after the man didn’t return that the family searched the property and made the discovery.
No one is in custody.
