Boy hit by car now stable

A young boy riding his bike has been hit by a car on Ladner Trunk Road.
 
 Delta Police Staff Sergeant Scott Lebus says it happened just before six p-m today, “a young teenage male was riding his bike in the 55-hundred block of Ladner trunk road when he was struck by a vehicle, a west bound vehicle, the male was airlifted to children’s hospital where he was initially listed as in critical condition but he has been upgraded now to stable condition.”
 
 Lebus says investigators are at work in the 55-hundred block of Ladner trunk road trying to figure out what happened.
 
 He says the police are not releasing any names at this point either.
