Budget’s out, but Dix still tight-lipped on when NDP will release platform

NDP leader Adrian Dix still won’t say when he’s going to release his election platform.

Dix is criticizing yesterday’s budget for cutting health care spending and raising MSP premiums by four percent, but he won’t say if he’d reverse those decisions.

“We’re going to have to make some difficult choices based on, frankly, the mismanagement we’ve seen in recent years, and so we’re going to have to say precisely on all those questions and we will and i think it’s not unreasonable for us to review what’s in this document now and to make those decisions.”

Dix has said he’s already announced more policies than previous leaders this far in advance of an election.
