Bullying continues for Todd family with social media imposters

Amanda Todd’s mother continues to face online harassment nearly three months after her daughter’s high profile suicide following years of online bullying.

Through Twitter and Facebook, individuals continue to bully the Todd family through impersonation — even going so far as to interact with those sending messages of sympathy.

“I’m just surprised that someone would go to that extent, and even say things like, ‘oh, thank you for saying you’re so sorry. I really miss my daughter, and our whole family misses her dearly. It was just bizarre to me.”

Carol Todd says she has complained to the social media sites about the accounts, but hasn’t received a reply.

One of those Facebook accounts has disappeared, but she isn’t sure whether the user or the social network deleted it.
