Businessman known for “Women are slaves” rant pleads guilty

A Surrey businessman caught on tape for a shocking, sexist tirade has entered a guilty plea in court.

Rajend chetty is best known for launching a verbal attack on the sister of an employee he was accused of not paying.

The janitorial company owner was accused of using Craigslist to lure vulnerable people into working for him, and then withholding paychecks.

Police have considered those allegations a civil matter, but in an unrelated case, Chetty was criminally charged with theft over five thousand dollars and fraud.

That case was supposed to go to trial this week, but instead, Chetty has entered a guilty plea to a lesser charge.

He will be sentenced later this month.
