Multiple reports of sexual assault have triggered a police investigation into a Dawson Creek cab company.
RCMP allege a driver with Golden Cabs offered a 13-year-old girl a free ride home, but instead locked her in the vehicle and sexually assaulted her.
Two other incidents involving adult women have also been reported, “The investigation has identified one suspect and there is possibly another suspect outstanding. We’re in the process of trying to determine that.”
Sgt. Milo McDonald advises people to travel in groups.
A 55-year-old man faces charges of sexual assault and forcible confinement.
