Caza gets out of jail once again

He has been the subject of repeated police warnings.

Now, a chronic offender is going to be released from jail again.

Prolific offender Tracy Lloyd Caza will be released from jail today, after being sentenced to six months time served for his convictions of common assault and drug possession.

It’s the 100th conviction for the 51 year old, best known for stealing a ring from an elderly woman as she lay in hospital.

The sentence comes after the crown and defence reached an agreement, giving Caza one and a half times credit, because he has spent the last four months in the hole, in segregation.

Caza was originally charged with sexual assault and other serious charges, but they were dropped when police realized the complainant changed her story.

This conviction comes after Caza slapped a romantic partner so hard her tooth became embedded in her lip.

It happened weeks after he was released from prison on a two year robbery sentence.
