Justice Minister Shirley Bond says changes are coming to the Province’s DriveABLE Program.
BC seniors have complained about the computerized driving test that determines if they can still safely drive.
Bond says she’s listened to concerns that seniors have to travel too far to take the test, so, “We have moved the number of sites up from three to 17 and I’m going to continue adding those locations, but I think we need to look at a legitimate and credible and mobile option.”
Bond asked the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles last month to plan out how staff could visit communities and explain how DriveABLE works.
