More than 150 underprivileged high-school seniors were pampered Sunday in downtown Vancouver.
The Cinderella Project provides students with gowns, suits, and accessories in advance of graduation ceremonies.
“When they walk out of the change room, and they look in the mirror and they go wow! I’ve never looked so good! I can’t believe that’s me,” says longtime volunteer Pat Ponti.
The project focuses on kids who have dealt with extreme challenges such as from poverty, abuse and illness.
