It’s over.
And it doesn’t sound like it went all that well.
Premier Christy Clark has finished her meeting with Alberta Premier Alison Redford in Calgary.
And Clark has described the encounter as “frosty and short”.
The meeting lasted about 15 minutes.
Clark and Alberta Premier Redford are miles apart when it comes to the issue of the proposed Northern Gateway pipeline.
Clark says if BC’s environmental and financial demands are not met, the pipeline is not going to happen.
Redford says all of Canada will benefit if the pipeline is built, but Alberta’s resources belong to Albertans.
And Redford claims Clark was short on specifics in terms of what BC needs, financially.
